Morris Township has so much to offer. It is just a beautiful area in New Jersey in general. Plus, there’s great spots to grab a meal, drinks and even enjoy a night out! Summertime is especially good for getting out and seeing everything Morris Township has to offer. You don’t need to be cooped up in the care or stay in the house. Discover the area in new ways and stay active outdoors. Join your neighbors for one or all of the activities below which have been planned out so you can skip the automobile and enjoy a hopefully warm, sunny day outside!
You’ll be surprised at how much you may live near and never truly experienced or taken advantage of. There are so many historical landmarks and areas around that it’s actually overwhelming…..in a good way!

There are guided tours that have been put together by the Township’s Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC). The tours don’t just give you facts on historical destinations, but also promote walking, biking and checking out beautiful and interesting sites in Morris Township.

You’re also encouraged to take part in self-guided activities in Morris Township parks, which can be a lot of fun. There are activities for all ages, and people that participate may enter a drawing for prizes by emailing a photo of themselves during the activity!

You can check out the list below for the July and August schedule and also make sure you watch for additional activities listed in the Municipal Messenger. To get the latest information, or to possibly suggest an activity in your neighborhood, all you need to do is email TAC : [email protected]

Maybe your activity will be included in an upcoming month right here in this amazing and beautiful area.
See below for some fun things to take part in!
