2024 is here. And with it comes the chance to make a great year for yourself! You can use this new Year as almost a reset button, to start your life over. Or you can simply use it to resolve two for things you want to accomplish or change this year. There are many popular resolutions that people have each year, but I think one is the ultimate winner – “I want to get in shape this year!” So, I figured, we could take a look at 5 simple exercises to help jump start getting healthier!”

Keep in mind – I am NOT A PHYSICIAN! So, before starting any exercise routine or doing any exercises, even simple ones, speak to your doctor first!

That said, the holidays are behind us. And many of us probably indulged or over-indulged on cookies, candy, and a few big dinners that may have added on a couple of extra pounds. But why start now? Well, the beginning of the year gives us a good point of reference to look back on at the end of 2024 to see how far we’ve come on our journey.

Also, Summer will be here fairly soon (time sure does fly). And we all would love to at least feel comfortable on the beach or by the swimming pool. So, starting a few regular exercises can help tone us, get us healthier cardiovascular-wise, and give us some confidence for when we have on our bathing suit.
I’m not saying we all need six-pack abs or have to look like supermodels on the cover of fitness magazines. But wouldn’t it be nice to not feel self-conscious when you change into your swimwear?

Again, I AM NOT A DOCTOR. I can’t stress that enough. So, before you start doing these exercises, speak to your physician first.

  • SQUATS

    You can get a lot out of this exercise and you don’t even need equipment! Cool stuff.

  • PUSH-UPS

    There’s actually alot of info out there on how to do a push up correctly.  But this video breaks it down into a few easy steps.

  • PLANKS

    These are great for your core.  It doesn’t take alot of time but is great once you start to master it!

  • CRUNCHES

    We all want those abs!  These can help.  But you need to do them correctly to get the benefits.

  • LUNGES

    You can avoid pain and simply do these.  You can add benefits of stability, mobility, and balance!
