In a blink-and-you'll-miss it moment, Mastodon drummer Brann Dailor played a White Walker during the episode. The group's affinity for, and affiliation with, the series is no secret, of course; Mastodon made a group cameo in an episode during GoT's fifth season, while guitarist Brent Hinds said he and his bandmates would be making an appearance this season as well.
It's not like Mastodon isn't otherwise busy, however; The group resumes touring to promote its latest album, Emperor Of Sand, on August 20 at the Psycho Las Vegas festival, while a full-scale fall tour begins September 26 at Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Fla.
