Volbeat Announces New Rum Brand
Volbeat fans will be raising a glass (or two or five) to this news.
The band announced they’re releasing a new rum brand appropriately called Volbeat Rum Vol. 3. following the previous release of two other small-batch rums in recent years.
Per the booze’s official website, Volbeat Rum Vol. 3 is “a hand-selected, premium blend sourced in The Dominican Republic, Guyana, Jamaica, Barbados, Guatemala, and Trinidad. Dark, complex and aged up to 15 years, it exhibits flavour notes of exotic dried fruits, caramel and wood.”
It also boasts, “Ultimately, Volbeat Rum III is a ‘uni-rum’ – a universal rum for everyone, from distinguished rum connoisseurs to a more casual imbiber, and it hopes to make rum fans out of those who were not previously.”
Volbeat frontman Michael Poulsen simply said of Vol. 3, “You will never taste anything like it.”
