Deftones continue their 20th anniversary celebration of their album White Pony with a newly announced limited edition tequila.

The band partnered with Abre Ojos Tequila for their new Añejo Tequila. This marks the second alcohol-related item released in honor of the 20th anniversary of White Pony. The first was a Double Dry Hopped IPA that was released in partnership with California-based brewery Belching Beaver.

Per Abre Ojos’ website, “The limited-edition Añejo was handcrafted in the town of Tequila, Jalisco. It is aged up to two years in American Oak used whiskey barrels creating caramel, vanilla, hazelnut and chocolate notes. The buttery taste ends with a smoky, mature flavor. It is meant to sip and enjoy.”

Abre Ojos notes this tequila will be available in retailers in California, Tennessee, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland and Washington D.C. and will also available online for most other states. A map/list of retailers selling this tequila can be found at AbreOjosTequila.com beginning March 15.

Fans will need to act quickly as only 2,880 bottles were produced for this Deftones partnership.
