Legendary Motörhead frontman/bassist Lemmy Kilmister passed away six years ago today (December 28), but this should not be a sad day. Instead, you should raise a glass in his honor.

While Lemmy was known for slinging Jack & Cokes on the daily to the point where after his death there was a campaign to change the drink’s name to “The Lemmy,” we thought we’d venture into some other cocktails that would also receive his seal of approval.

…And of course, they ALL feature Jack Daniel’s, because Lemmy wouldn’t want it any other way.  Cheers!

  How synonymous was Lemmy with the iconic Jack and Coke cocktail? Shortly after the Motorhead frontman died, an online petition went viral trying to get the drink renamed to "The Lemmy."

• “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott – Black Tooth Grin

  Dimebag's signature drink featured two shots of Seagram's 7, two shots of Crown Royal and a splash of Coca-Cola. Basically, it'll get you to where you need to go and then some.

• The Rolling Stones – Tequila Sunrise

  The orange juice/Jose Cuervo/grenadine cocktail was introduced to Mick Jagger during a private party hosted by famed promoter Bill Graham. After that, it became the "unofficial cocktail" of the Stones' 1972 tour in support of 'Exile on Main Street,' and the rest is history.
• Janis Joplin – Southern Comfort

  Janis Joplin was so public with her love of Southern Comfort that it caused an increase in sales, which resulted in the company sending her a lynx fur coat as a "thank you."

• Freddie Mercury – Stolichnaya Vodka/Cristal

  Mercury's two drinks of choice, Stoli and Cristal, are just another part of his legend. Queen launched the limited edition Killer Queen Vodka in 2014. In the announcement of Killer Queen, Brian May said, "Freddie loved vodka and used to carry a dry ice cooler full of vodka with him on tour." As for the Cristal, that was Mercury's favorite champagne and would stock his fridge with dozens of bottles of it for parties.

• Sammy Hagar – Cabo Wabo Tequila

  Hagar arguably started the very popular trend of rock stars with their own liquor brands. Even though the Red Rocker has launched a number of different spirit labels, Cabo Wabo Tequila was his first, and it made him a very rich man. Hagar has since sold all of his stake in the brand, but when he first sold 80 percent of Cabo Wabo to Gruppo Campari in 2007, he earned $80 million.
• Zakk Wylde/Black Label Society – Johnnie Walker Black Label

  An obvious association, especially regarding Black Label Society's debut album 'Sonic Brew,' which featured the design of Johnnie Walker's Black Label Whisky label and bottle. Wylde, however, didn't get permission to use the Johnnie Walker imagery and was served with a cease and desist.
