Caroline Leavitt is a New York Times bestselling author with twelve novels to her credit. She and her husband Jeff Tamarkin (you’ve read Jeff’s work in The Aquarian Weekly, Goldmine, and other music publications), recently faced that with both their respective moms. How best to care for an older parent, making sure that they’re properly cared for was new territory for both. Caroline recently wrote an article for Psychology Today that revealed what the experience was like for Jeff, her, and their moms, and what they each learned along the way.

This week, Rock N’ Ruff has two dogs! Maddie and Ernie are two of the eleven poodle mixes that came from a hoarding situation to the incredible Denville Animal Shelter looking for a chance at a bright future.
