Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni, Spotted Filming In New Jersey For ‘It Ends with Us’
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni were spotted in New Jersey for the filming of the movie adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel It Ends with Us. Per Hoboken Girl, Lively, and Baldoni started filming in the Garden State in Hoboken and Bloomfield on May 10th. The project initially wrapped up its Hoboken set on Friday (May 12) but now it has been extended until this Thursday (May 18).
The Patch reported that Hoboken’s Field Colony art gallery was transformed into “Maya & Maxim, a homey-looking shop.” In the novel, Lily (Lively) opens a flower shop called Lily’s Blooms but it is unclear at this time what the “Maya & Maxim” shop will play in the film.
Starting next week the crew will be headed to Chatham though the production is headquartered in Jersey City.
The synopsis of the film reads: “A girl named Lily who has just moved and is ready to start her life after college. After meeting a doctor named Ryle — who swears by the ‘no girlfriends’ rule — the two begin falling for each other. Just as things turn serious, Lily’s first love, Atlas, reappears in her life and challenges her new relationship.”

“I just want everyone to know how appreciative I am to my mother, who got us out of a scary situation when I was little and brought us here to this house, which doesn’t look like much but was full of love and joy,” she explained in a TikTok filmed in front of her childhood home. “So thank you, Mom, for making that very difficult decision. … The fact that we are now discussing a movie that was made from a book that was loosely inspired by my mother, it’s bittersweet. So many people have had to go through [what she did], but to know my mom’s decision has helped so many people get out of that. I love you, Mom.”
An official release date for the film has yet to be announced.
