National Radio Day: JoHo
What could have possibly happened to make me believe I was destined for a career in radio? Maybe it was the speaker that fell on my head when I was a kid. Yes, seriously. I still have the scar to prove it. It could have been falling asleep listening to the Yankee games when they were broadcasted on WABC. It could have been the fact that I had my own radio show before class in high school. Who knows? Maybe it was all of those and more.
I do know this, though. My entire life changed when I began my internship here at WDHA in January 2008. I met some of my favorite artists and have met co-workers that became family. I have traveled to Mexico and Jamaica. I even met Mrs. JoHo at a WDHA event.
I look back at the last 12 years of my life and realize that I really do have the coolest job in the world. -JoHo
