A New Home For NJ Transit Headquarters Has Been Agreed Upon!

I was unaware the NJ Transit is The Nation’s Largest Statewide Transit System. It’s definitely something many of us have used at one time or another. And it’s quite impressive that it is so big and complex.
After a process, it turns out that NJ Transit is solidifying its commitment to Newark. They just signed a 25-year lease to establish efficient, modern offices in Two Gateway Center, with a direct pedestrian connection to Newark Penn Station, the state’s busiest intermodal transit hub.
It’s said that the new headquarters will provide a more efficient and collaborative workspace for its employees. It was also stated that the new lease agreement provides the best value for taxpayers in the state, employees of NJ Transit, and its customers.
Currently, the NJ Transit headquarters are over 30 years old and are located at Penn Plaza East. Supposedly, the cost to renovate and repair over the next six years would be about 120 MILLION DOLLARS!
As stated in an NJ TRANSIT Press Release:
“The Two Gateway location has direct access to Newark Penn Station via the Gateway Center’s pedestrian bridge as well as Gateway’s new street level entrance just across from the station’s historic waiting room. The Murphy Administration has committed more than $190 million to renovating and restoring Newark Penn Station to again be the crown jewel of the state’s transportation system, serving as a grand entryway to New Jersey.”
I’m all for what’s beneficial for the taxpayers because every little bit helps. And this seems like a big win.
As of right now, NJ Transit is planning on occupying the new headquarters by the end of 2024. No determination as to what will happen to the current Penn Plaza facility has been made yet.
I’m sure there will continue to be no shortage of Transit riders regardless of HQ location.

My family and I have been RV owners for about 12 years. And we have had many adventures traveling the country from state park to state park. We’ve seen many of the sights of our beautiful country. We have loved the RV life from day one. Although there is a lot to do when you are an RV owner. One of those things is keeping your, literal home away from home, RV organized.
I love to organize and do so often. Changing one organization tool for another as I learn to make our RV lifestyle as practical and fun as possible. Plus, it really does help when you’re traveling. Unlike your physical home, an RV is a bit smaller, so staying organized and clean can help you enjoy your vacation.
We took a rare early spring RV trip in March for our beloved Great Dane dog, who was losing his battle with cancer. He loved to go on RV trips with us so much that we just had to take him for one more trip. It was really cold, like in the 40s, and there was not much to do outside, so I spent three days organizing the inside of our RV. I spent a lot of time on Amazon on the state park’s internet to find the right things to make our living, eating, and sleeping areas of the 30-foot RV just right.
I have gathered some of the items that I found and implemented in our RV home. You can use many of them to make your RV lifestyle more organized so you can focus more on having fun.

Mike is all about having fun each afternoon. He brings you concert tickets, some fun trivia, and of course the best bands. Other interests outside of being at WDHA are drums, movies, and my family. Also, like most radio personalities, he loves live music. There's nothing like a live show to hype him up! His all-time favorite band is Metallica. But according to him, the list of others is pretty lengthy.
