WDHA’s Parking Lot Party with P.O.D. ROCKED!
“Every Day Is A New Day”…….and what a day we had- California legends P.O.D hit the WDHA lot to play for 50 select contest winners on a day off from their tour behind their 11th (amazing) new release “Veritas”. Sonny, Marcos, and Traa played four songs, met the fans, took some photos and kicked it “Jersey Style” with P.O.D. loyalists for our 2nd WDHA PLP of the season.
There Is Something Special About P.O.D.
P.O.D. formed in 1991 and by the late 1990’s were an MTV staple, selling millions of records and leading a revolution of sound and spirit. Their masterpiece “Satellite” was released on September 11th 2001 and it’s anthems of hope and humanity helped the album to go triple platinum. They have always been a band with a vibe. When you meet them you feel it. A special band. Saturated in both talent and timeless emotion. Their battle cry anthems are the voice of a generation.
Their New Release “Veritas”
Is the bands 11th with 11 incredible tracks including “Afraid To Die” which features Tatiana Shmayluk from Jinger and guest appearances by Lamb Of God’s – Randy Blythe and Cove Reber from Saosin. It’s P.O.D. at their finest with some of their most prolific songwriting to date and a freshness to the traditional P.O.D. sound that revolutionizes the band in 2024. It’s a must listen.
