WDHA’s Rock N’ Ruff with Mama- (from Cold Nose, Warm Heart)
Hey Rock N’ Ruffers,
TC here. the thing I miss the most during pandemic lockdown is the amount of time I used to spend with shelter animals and our generous shelter heroes at WDHA, however despite our social distancing, I am just as committed to bringing these amazing adoptable to you every week!
This week we have one of my favorite “types” of dog and that is a mama dog. Dogs used for breeding, puppies taken and sold or given away. This is the story of “Mama” – this week’s Rock N’ Ruff rockstar rescue- Mama is a 7 year old Bully mix from Cold Nose, Warm Heart and is a fantastic girl! Happy, silly, affectionate and well behaved, Mama is crate trained, house trained and knows basic commands. Mama loves her humans, playing with her ball and now that she is in her foster home, seems to be quite happy to play with her furry foster siblings. Mama got her name because she has had multiple litters of puppies and has waited two long years for a home to call her own.
