MLB Pitcher-Turned Musician Bronson Arroyo On “All Mixed Up”
Bronson Arroyo spent 16 years in Major League Baseball as a pitcher for the Pirates, Red Sox, Reds, and Diamondbacks.
Over the course of his career, he won a Gold Glove, was named to the National League All-Star team (2006), was voted into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame, and was a member of the 2004 World Champion Boston Red Sox.
Arroyo’s talents extend far beyond the baseball diamond – he’s just released his second album (and first of all-original material) called Some Might Say.
Bronson joined Jim Monaghan to talk about the new record, the role Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder had in selecting the songs, Bronson’s musical career and (sorry Yankee fans) the significance of winning the 2004 World Series.
