The Stress of the Holidays Is Starting To Add Up On Facebook Theater

Is holiday season stress starting to catch up to you? Make sure everyone knows that the struggle is real by posting it on your Facebook feed. That way, everyone can share in your escapades, and vent with you.

  • You can tell the holiday season is here. In about the last five hours, I bought 30 things on Amazon that I didn’t need, I drank half a bottle of Merlot, took a gummy, and thought to myself, “My god, I really am turning into my mother!”
  • I’m amazed at women in their early 20s with full-on skincare routines: serums, oils, and anti-aging products. When I was that age I was using a bar of soap and some lotion I’d find in the bathroom that I’m not entirely sure was for your face. No wonder I look like this.
  • My daughter made a new best friend, Mike, at preschool. My best friend’s name is also Mike. Last night I told my wife I was meeting Mike out for a beer and my daughter exclaimed, “My friend Mike?!?” yes, I’m having drinks with a preschooler, and then we’re getting matching tattoos.

If we may, we would like to add a bit of advice for that dad at the end there.

As you probably know, kids are sponges, especially at the preschool age.  They soak up EVERYTHING.

And there is a very good chance that what you tell them will end up being repeated in school the next day.

We just want to make sure you (and Mike, in fact, ALL of the Mikes) are aware of this.

WDHA has been the “Rock Of New Jersey” for almost 50 years and every year we play host to our rock friends at our studios, at WDHA concerts and on location- like our WDHA listeners our artist community if family and we love connecting with them.  Looking back on 2023, I compiled a few photo memories of some memorable interview visits and man did we have a blast! Why do artists stop by and see us so frequently? WDHA is everyone’s station. We have so many artists that make us a part of their local itinerary, have great memories of being in our studio and have become friends of the station and our personalities. (AND we are dog friendly, road dogs are always welcomed!)

It was great welcoming everyone from Mark Tremonti to Kelsey Grammar, Theory Of A Deadman, Dorothy, Beartooth  and more for a chat, hang and some good Jersey times. Some artists brought their guitars and played a few tunes, others came in to speak about their projects, some caught up with us at concerts and WDHA events to let us know what was up.

Thanks to all of our artists, managers, label reps and everyone who has been a part of making the “Rock Of New Jersey” – ROLL- year after year  decade after decade – always a place for our rock community to stop by- have a conversation, a performance, and a great rock and roll time.  We are grateful for your talents and loyalty and look forward to many more years rocking the garden state as we always have.
