How F’d Up Were You 2-13-23
The day after the Super Bowl is also known as National Football Hangover Day.
With that in mind, we bring you the saga of New Jersey resident Cortney Bell who entered a TD Bank branch in Pemberton with the intention of robbing the bank.
He took the trouble to cover up his face and even went so far as to put what was described by witnesses as dirty sweat socks on his hands in an effort to not leave any fingerprints.
One of the tellers did as she was told and handed Bell a few stacks of cash adding up to $600.
As he was trying to make his getaway, Bell dropped the cash and when he bent down to retrieve it, that was when a Corona Light beer bottle – with his fingerprints all over it – fell to the floor.
Given that Bell has already had some prior “experience” with the Pemberton cops, it wasn’t long before they were able to track him down.
Moral of the story?
Don’t drink on the job.
