Yogi Berra’s Granddaughter Lindsay On the Morning Jolt
Lindsay Berra is the granddaughter of one of the most beloved professional baseball players of all time – Yogi Berra.
Winner of 10 World Series with the New York Yankees, Yogi was an 18-time All-Star and winner of the American League’s Most Valuable Player award three times. One look at his career numbers will tell you that Yogi was a no-doubt-about-it Hall of Fame player.
When Major League Baseball honored its greatest living players at the 2015 All-Star Game, four were chosen – Henry Aaron, Johnny Bench, Sandy Koufax, and Willie Mays. Curiously, Yogi Berra was left out.
As the executive producer of the new film It Ain’t Over, Lindsay and director Sean Mullin set out to tell the incredible story of Lawrence Peter Berra – from the streets of St. Louis, to the battle of Normandy, to Yankee Stadium and beyond.
Lindsay and Sean joined Jim Monaghan on the WDHA Morning Jolt to talk about the film which opens May 12 at select area theaters, including some in the WDHA listening area.
