5 Of WDHA's Coolest Exclusive Unplugged Performances Of 2023 (VIDEO)
Hey Friends,
Happy (unplugged) Thanksgiving! At WDHA we have two Turkey Day Traditions.
It’s Terrie Carr, and as far back as I can remember, WDHA has offered some sort of acoustic performances as part of Thanksgiving programming. AND we always give up a few servings of Alice’s Restaurant. This year we are ready and it’s going to be an epic day of programming! Let’s reflect on 5 of WDHA’s coolest, exclusive Unplugged Performances from this past year as the more amazing stripped down performances that we give our listeners exclusively, the more we have to choose from every Thanksgiving (and whenever we feel like a deconstructed versions of some of our favorite rockers).
I look back and think about some of my favorite WDHA in studio and on location performances and I remember the glorious times they came from. Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora, Paul Rodgers and Bad Company, the incredible Warren Haynes, Kings X, Peter Frampton, Alter Bridge, Rival Sons….the list is massive!
I decided to post 5- 2023 WDHA Parking Lot Party Performances that were fine acoustic rocking – stripped down, deconstructed, bare bones performances. Love it.
Please join us Thursday, 11/23- Thanksgiving Day from 6a-6p for some cool versions of classic and new rockers and everything in between. We have you covered from artists the 1970’s thru today. Exactly what the Rock Of New Jersey does best. We remember the history of the past without getting stuck there!
As always, we give thanks to you our WDHA listening family and while we may not sit at the same dinner table, we ALWAYS sit down at the same rock table and break our rock and roll bread together. Check out Jim Monaghan, me, (TC) and Mike Anthony on Thanksgiving serving up your favorite rock!
Happy Thanksgiving! All the best to you and yours!
