Rock Icon, Slash Talks Blues Revival, Female Talent, and Continuing The S.E.R.P.E.N.T Festival on WDHA
SLASH! No other words are needed. Picking Slash’s brain on music is a gift, and when I heard he was putting out a Blues record I was excited. When I HEARD “Orgy Of The Damned” I was blown away.
I wish I could have gone through EVERY track with him (we covered quite a bit!) because each performance is a story. The guest appearances are magnificent. Paul Rodgers vocals, Billy Gibbons playing, Chris Stapleton delivering on “Oh Well”,- “Orgy Of The Damned” is not a recording, it’s an experience.

Slash and WDHA
Slash has been a friend of the station since the Guns N’ Roses days. He has come by my show during Snakepit, and Conspirators and has called in and made himself accessible at shows to sit down for a chat with me so many times. Check out some awesome photo memories below.
Slash is also the most authentic artist to interview. He is real, passionate about everything he does, and always so open and fun. It is always such an easy chat, like hanging with a friend you haven’t seen in a while, but you can pick right back up with — the Best.
A few questions he answers… “Why was now the right time to make this record”? , “Will his inaugural S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Blues Festival continue in years to come”? , “How did he choose the artists to appear on ORGY”? and more.
