Moriah Formica From Plush Joins Disturbed for A Duet With David Draiman- YOWZA! (VIDEO)

Those that listen to WDHA are NOT surprised when they hear that the band PLUSH is making lots of noise in the rock world! We have known for the past three years!

Four exceptionally talented ladies who play great, collaborate as writers, bust their —es on the road opening and headlining, and know how to interact with their fans- What does that spell? ROCKSTARS!

The ladies released their new EP this past Friday – “Find The Beautiful” – Info in the story here- Plush Covers Barracuda and It’s Awesome! and that also marked show #1 for the band as the opener on the “Disturbed” tour.

Well, it was often thought by fans (especially me!) knowing how much Moriah adores Ann Wilson and Heart, that she would be a perfect (and obvious and available) fit to perform the Disturbed/Ann Wilson duet that appears on “Divisive” – Disturbed’s latest – “DON’T TELL ME” – alongside the masterful David Draiman- Well……It happened- and it was incredible!

Moriah joined the band onstage in Peoria. Illinois and the pairing of these two exceptional vocalists blew everyone away.

The song is a stunning power ballad with a masterful guitar solo. While the album version is incredible, it is a joy for fans to be able to hear it performed live on this leg of the band’s tour with the new generation of powerhouse female vocalists.

Not only is Moriah KILLER a vocalist, but her stage presence and ability to deliver a passionate performance are spot on.

What a glorious treat for Disturbed fans to experience the song the way it was written from a male/female perspective and considering Ann Wilson is NOT on the road with Disturbed for a multi-city tour, I’m sure she is proud that she has inspired Mo to carry the torch. This, my friends, is rock and roll and when anyone tells you “it’s dead”- show them this video taken by a fan and tell them to go pound salt! lol …. Rock Lives- through the generations.

Terrie Carr is WDHA’s Program Director and midday–host and is a Jersey Girl - born and raised and has been rocking the Garden State at WDHA for more than half of her life! “Being a part of the lives of our listeners and community every day is a fantastic gift and I’m honored to bring the party to their workday and lives” Says TC. Terrie loves interviewing artists in studio and on her “Reconnect With Rockers” online feature and has hosted nationally syndicated radio interview specials with Judas Priest, Alter Bridge, Black Stone Cherry and more and has appeared on multiple TV shows and rock host of live events. Terrie’s passion is also giving back, and she started the WDHA Rock N’ Ruff program 14 years ago to raise awareness, and funds and find homes for shelter pets throughout the state of New Jersey. Terrie is also a supporter of The American Foundation For Suicide Prevention and the American Cancer Society and volunteers her time for many community outreach programs. Her hobbies are hanging at the beach, going to concerts, and hanging with her best friend, her rescue dog Rosie.
