We’re all interested in things that could help you live a long healthy life.
Whether it’s superfoods with mega nutrients and benefits, exercise, laughter, or even adult bedroom activities; some of them might be a great fit for our lifestyle.
Well, according to a new study, it was determined that men with a higher sex drive are 69% less likely to die young than those with a lower drive.
This research comes out of Japan and the researchers there found that it’s not necessarily a lack of doing it that is causing some men to die young.
Rather, a lack of interest in doing it could be a sign of an unhealthy lifestyle such as obesity or other chronic diseases. Those lifestyles and situations COULD result in men dying at a younger age.
The study didn't break too much new ground as a healthy sex life has long been linked to positive mental and physical health, with experts suggesting couples do the mattress mambo once or twice a week -- or even more often if they've got the stamina for such rigorous action.
What’s great is that there is more information coming out that should or could motivate you to take on a healthier lifestyle. Who doesn’t want to be performing more in the bedroom? Why not reap the benefits of a single glass of red wine at dinner?
And although it’s a little less exciting, even going for a 35-minute walk 3 times a week could do wonders for your cardiovascular health. Plus you get to breathe in all that nice Jersey air……well, depending on what county you’re in.
Think about what excited you the most and try getting a little healthier! It could lead to a long healthy life…..and it ain’t so bad doing these things along the way!
10 Most Unusual Smells People Love
Have you ever tried a fragrance and thought to yourself, "Wow, this smells awful?" Then you wonder why and how anyone would ever enjoy that smell. Just like our sense of taste, smells are based on preference. For example, your friend may like the smell of corpse flowers (the worst-smelling flower in the world) and burnt hair while you like the smell of roses and bonfires.
"Most people assume we all like the smell of roses and hate the smell of skunk... with the exception of irritating odors, smell is something we come to know from personal and cultural experiences." noted lead researcher Rachel Herz, PhD, in a 2005 Brown University study.
Alan R Hirsch, the founder and neurological director of the Smell and Taste Treatment & Research Foundation, explained to NPR that “the factors that influence our sense of smell are actually a combination of cultural, genetic, and environmental factors.”
There are certain smells that almost everyone loves. From the new car smell (which may not be good for you) and freshly baked bread to Sharpies and gasoline. People enjoy a variety of aromas and find some more pleasant than others. The scents we smell can change our moods and emotions.
