NHRA Top Fuel Driver Austin Prock On the WDHA Morning Jolt
NHRA drag racing returns to New England Raceway in Epping NH this weekend with all kinds of excitement.
The NHRA New England Nationals runs Friday June 2 through Sunday June 5. This year’s event will feature racing action from the Top Fuel and Funny Car classes as well as the first-ever appearance of the exciting Pro Mod class.
Top Fuel competitor Austin Prock has auto racing in his blood – his grandfather was an NHRA racer and Austin’s first experience in a race himself came at the age of 10.
His dad was also bitten by the racing bug, but he spent more time underneath the hood of cars than he did behind the wheel.
Austin and Jim Monaghan talked about Austin’s love of racing, the deep roots racing has in his family, and his love of cooking (he has a culinary arts degree).
