5 Bands New Jersey Music Fans Pick To Get You Into Rock
Most of us can remember that song or artist that made us fall in love with rock. That tune made us say “I like this sound and I want more.” For many of us, there was one band or song that opened the door to a whole new world of rock music. And it was fascinating! I wanted to look at 5 Bands New Jersey Music fans Pick to get you Into rock!
I have a feature at 5 PM called First Call Last Call. It’s a themed block of music for your ride home that is put together based on the responses to the question of the day on the DHA Facebook page. I decided to pose this question yesterday: If a kid who has never heard a rock song came to you, what band or song would you play for them to see if they are into rock music?
The responses I got were great. Many answered with some staple classic rock bands. Some thought of modern bands who may sound more accessible to the young ones. The artists mentioned were all over the map, but some received more mentions than others.
I don’t know if I could answer my question. In fact, for most of the First Call Last Call questions I’m glad I don’t have to answer LOL! It’s especially tough for me to pick one band to use as a gateway into the world of rock music. That’s why I leave it up to the DHA listeners. Our listening family always has great, intriguing, and sometimes surprising answers. And I love that!
So, who would you pick as a gauge or introduction to see if someone is into rock music? Let’s look at 5 Bands New Jersey Music fans Pick to get you Into rock!
