Danny Wilde of the Rembrandts on “All Mixed Up”
Look up the phrase “power pop” in the dictionary, and you’ll liable to find a reference to the Rembrandts.
Best known for hit singles like “Just the Way It Is Baby” and the theme song to the hit TV show Friends, the Rembrandts have just released their new album Via Satellite.
Danny Wilde (one half of the Rembrandts along with Phil Solem) called into WDHA and spoke with Jim Monaghan about the new record, some of the influences that found their way into the songs, and plans for an upcoming tour.
