Patty Smyth chats with Jim Monaghan on “All Mixed Up”
As both the lead singer & songwriter for Scandal, and through a very successful solo career, Patty Smyth personified the sound of 80’s rock.
Her collaboration with Glen Burtnik, “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough” which featured a duet with Don Henley, reached #2 on the Billboard charts.
Though Patty continued to tour, it’s been a LONG time since she’s released a new record. Patty is back with It’s About Time which features both new originals and cover versions.
Patty chatted with Jim Monaghan about the new album, why she turned down Eddie Van Halen‘s offer to front Van Halen, and how she’s been dealing with the global pandemic.
