POLL: Thoughts on Jack White’s Phone Ban?
For those seeing Jack White on his upcoming tour in support of his new album Boarding House Reach, get ready for a concert experience you likely haven’t had in about a decade: Being cell-phone free.
White will be using Yondr, a service that has notably been used by many major comics like Dave Chappelle, that utilizes special pouches that “lock” your phone up during a show. (Don’t worry! If there really is an emergency, there are designated stations placed at each venue where you can access your phone.)
In a statement, White said, “We think you’ll enjoy looking up from your gadgets for a little while and experience music and our shared love of it IN PERSON.”
So…what say you? What are your thoughts on Jack White’s ban? Let us know in poll below!
Too angry about the ban to vote? Check out this preview of White’s new track “Corporation,” which will drop in its entirety at midnight!
