Bill Madden has been covering Major League Baseball for the New York Daily News for more than three decades. In addition to being the 2010 recipient of the Baseball Hall of Fame's J.G. Taylor Spink Award, Bill is also a member of the Writer's Wing of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Bill's new book, Tom Seaver - A Terrific Life, is a beautifully written biography of the man Mets fans refer to as "The Franchise."

Jim Monaghan and Bill talked about Seaver and some of the great stories found in the book.
