When the 2023 Boston Marathon kicks off on tomorrow morning, one of the runners participating with be Morris County native Daniel Buckelew.
This will be Daniel’s second running of the event, the first time being in October 2021; you may recall Daniel being a guest on Jersey Magazine right before the marathon.
Daniel was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis more than 10 years ago, but he refuses to be defined or limited by MS which is one of the inspirational parts of his story.
Jim Monaghan and Daniel talk about running in the Boston Marathon, the training and mental toughness involved, and what Daniel’s future plans are.
Learn more about MS on the National Multiple Sclerosis Society website.
Annie Rodriguez is a Digital Sales and Marketing Manager for Beasley Media Group, the company that owns WDHA.
As Annie told us on Jersey Magazine back in January, her world was rocked in late December by the news that she had been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer.
Annie returns to Jersey Magazine to give us an update on how she and her family are doing as they navigate through this journey together.
