Another quarantine for Florida Man? A Covid spike?
Actually, it’s not just Florida Man; it’s everyone in a portion of Broward County who has been affected by an invasion of the giant African land snail.
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services found the snail which is said to be one of the most damaging snails in the world. It can damage plants and cause wide range of damage to both tropical and subtropical environments.
What’s worse is that it can also carry a dangerous parasite, including meningitis, which makes it very dangerous to humans.
