How F’d Up Were You – 10 Pints of Beer A Day Is NOT Good For Your Liver
Quotas and goals were a topic this morning on the WDHA Morning Jolt. This guy in England had a goal of drinking 10 pints of beer a day for 200 days.
That’s probably not good for your liver, among other things.

That’s actually a very appropriate song title, “Call Me When You’re Sober,” for today’s question that we always ask you on Mondays, How F’d Up Were You?
Because you know after a weekend, well, maybe you overindulged but we highly doubt that you did it to the extent that this guy in England has been doing for a while now.
His name is John May, he’s 25 years old and he’s on a mission.
We all have goals, right? We were talking earlier this morning about having quotas. Well, his mission was to drink 2000 pints of beer over the course of a year. Well, he realized that he’s so good at drinking beer he wouldn’t need an entire year. He would only need 200 days to do it.
Now if you’re following along at home, that’s about ten beers each day, every day. So he’s been videoing this. I’m going to play you a little bit of audio here. I don’t know if it’s the accent, the British accent that makes it hard to understand or the fact that he’s probably rip roaring drunk or both.
So he was talking about “a grand total of 354,900 calories. That’s a lot of calories.” The calories are the least that it issues.
At any rate, he’s been posting these videos as you could hear there, and remember, if it’s not on TikTok, it didn’t really happen.
He did go on to say that on the one hand you’re essentially killing your liver. On the other hand you’re doing something mildly impressive. I guess if you’re easily impressed.
He then went on to clarify, “I’m too young for hangovers and you can’t get hungover unless you’re sober.”
Anyway, he said that he’s received some criticism for the stunt that he’s pulling and that it used to get to him. “But now I’ve realized they’re just jealous. They can’t drink pints as well as I can.”
To go back to the song title, “Call me when you’re sober.”
And that’s this morning’s How F’d Up Were You here on the DHA Morning Jolt.
