Leave Your Friends And Family Wanting More At Your Holiday Party – TDM Chili Dip
We’re in the Holiday Season and that means parties to attend. Family and friends will be on hand. Maybe you’ll exchange gifts. But one thing is almost definite – There…

BERLIN, GERMANY – OCTOBER 29: A loaf of bread prepares to bake by the photographer in a cast-iron pot in the kitchen oven of his apartment on the 2nd day of his 14-day quarantine at home during the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic on October 29, 2020 in Berlin, Germany. The photographer went into mandated quarantine following the positive Covid-19 infection of his wife. After three days of fever and headaches she made a speedy recovery, has shown no lingering consequences and finished her mandated isolation at home on November 3. In keeping with Berlin city health guidelines the photographer began his 14-day quarantine after the last day his wife showed infection symptoms and passed the time in their apartment with home office work for his employer, cooking, household upkeep, bicycle maintenance, reading and following the outcome of the U.S. presidential election. He also underwent a Covid test, which returned with a negative result. (Photo by Sean Gallup/Getty Images)

But one thing is almost definite – There will be food and drink…..and probably lots of it! Our family Christmas party is coming up and I was asked to bring an appetizer which I was happy to say yes to. Can you guess why? Well…..I have a go-to dip I make! It will leave your friends and family wanting more and it's called TDM Chili Dip. Now, it might not be the most ingenious thing ever, but it sure is tasty. Perfect for the holiday season……but also for Football, games, and really any party!
I call it TDM Chili Dip. The initials are based on the friends that introduced me to it and then I threw my initial on as well! LOL. Again, it might not be the most awe-inspiring dip you’ve ever come across, but talk about comfort food. It’s warm, creamy, and goes down perfectly with a tortilla chip or bread.
Since my mouth is already watering, how about we dive right in with what to do?
First, you’ll need:
A Large bag of finely shredded cheddar cheese.
1 Block of Cream Cheese
1 Can Chili with no beans…..just the meat. Usually, I go for Hormel.
And…….that’s it!!
In a baking dish, spread out half the block of cream cheese. Then layer with half a can of chili. And then our on a hefty amount of cheese. Maybe ¾ - 1 whole cup.
Then repeat those steps. Cream cheese, chili, and top it with more cheese.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Once it’s ready, place your dish on the middle rack and let bake for about 12-15 minutes.
Remove from oven and use a spatula or just a spoon to mix the dip all together. It will be a creamy, cheesy consistency. Serve with a bowl of tortilla chips or a loaf of bread you can break apart and dip.
Again, not very hard at all…..but oh so good!
