Believe It Or Not, Florida Man’s D-I-Y Tips Are Legit

Based upon most of his past antics, the last thing you might look to Florida Man for is D-I-Y tips when it comes to getting things done around the house.

Turns out that in this case. Florida Man is legit!

FLORIDA MAN STRIKES AGAIN!

DATELINE – Tallahassee, and the Saga of a Florida Man who goes by just the name Gator.

Now, it’s been said that if you do something you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.

I don’t know if that’s true. I think you’re still working, and you’re still probably working pretty hard, even if you really, really, really like what it is you do.

But if you do something you love, you may find a way to make it go viral and make some decent money at the same time.

And that’s what’s going on here with this guy Gator out of Tallahassee.

His son was on TikTok. First of all, Gator was not on any social media at all. Nothing as recently as two years ago.

Not even Myspace.

Well, his son was on TikTok, posted a couple of silly videos, and they did well, like getting close to a million views.

So he thought, you know what? Maybe there’s something to this.

So he got the app himself and started posting these videos. He said instead of just posting somewhat random clips, he started posting home repair videos after a suggestion from a friend.

I’ve watched some of these. They’re really good, and they’re things that make you go, wow, how come I never thought of that?

Homeowners need D-I-Y help

Well, at any rate, the comments section took off to the point where people are asking, they’re making requests on his TikTok page – Hey, can you help me? How to replace a toilet? I need help replacing a screen. What about this sink problem? What about that problem?

Well, he said it’s gone crazy to the point where he has over two and a half million followers on TikTok and close to 45 million likes.

And not only that, but Gator is making money with this. He’s selling t shirts. He has a dryer vent cleaning kit. He has his own Amazon page. He’s got a whole different bunch of things going on.

Do something you love. You’ll never work a day in your life. I don’t know about that, but I know he’s gone viral. I know he’s making money.

And remember, if it’s not on TikTok, it didn’t really happen.

With the Super Bowl  you get two of the NFL’s best teams battling it out for the Championship title. You also get snacks, an adult beverage or three and of course some amazing commercials! This year could be a little different and I’ll explain why. But let’s also take a look at 5 of the All-Time Best Super Bowl Commercials!

Business Insiders are saying that the ads this year might not be as daring or exciting. Many businesses don’t want to risk offending anyone or face any backlash on social media. I get that to a point. But sometimes you have to take a risk. It could pay off with one of the best commercials ever and help your business grow.

It’s so exciting to have a timeout called or a break in the action come up and they cut away to a brand new commercial ready to debut. Is it going to be comical? Maybe have you tear up a little bit? Or show you a clip from an upcoming movie you’re dying to see? No matter what kind of ad it is, it’s always fun to than talk at your get-together and say whether or not you liked it or if it was a miss.

If this year we don’t get that opportunity, I’ll definitely be disappointed. The commercials rival the game when you don’t care about who’s playing. Or you could say they rival the half-time act when you don’t care who’s performing.

Let’s hope we get some really exciting ads this year from a wide array of businesses. And if we don’t, at lest there are countless classics to look back on and laugh at or get choked up by. I wonder if staying away from offending anyone isn’t the only reason not to explore a unique and exciting ad. I mean, these things are expensive as all heck to run during the game.

  • Coca-Cola

    Seeing Mean Joe Greene’s attitude be turned around by a bottle of Coke is epic. The child and his acting make it work too!

  • Nike - Bugs Bunny

    Before they made Space Jam, there was this ad.  It’s pretty awesome and you could see why they thought it would translate well into a film!

  • Snickers - Betty White

    Betty was the best.  This one made me LOL.  And is a great way to show the needd for the product.

  • Budweiser - Football

    The Clydesdales are amazing to watch.  And this one is not only epic, but gives  you a bit of a chuckle as well.

  • Audi - The Chase

    Jason Statham on a long, thrill packed chase is pretty awesome.  Not to mention, the style of the footage looked cool too!
