I don’t ever advocate doing something stupid, or illegal.
Or, for that matter, something both stupid AND illegal.
But if you do, you definitely want to make sure that you don’t draw attention to yourself.
How F’d Up Were You?
Jim Monaghan with you on a Tuesday that feels kind of like a Monday.
You probably had yesterday off, and that’s an extra day to get yourself in probably a little bit of trouble. This is why we like to ask you how you – How F’d Up Were You?
And hopefully not as effed up as this guy, Christopher Clem.
Just a reminder, if you’re going to do something stupid or worse, so something stupid and illegal, do not draw attention to yourself. So hopefully, whatever you did yesterday, you did, well, in private.
Police in central Indiana received multiple reports about someone shining a laser at planes near a small municipal airport. Well, a police officer drove out to the airport to see if he could figure out who was doing it.
No luck at first until after about 20 minutes, he noticed that the knucklehead with the laser was now pointing it at the police car.
Not good.
What was in the car
Well, they found the guy. They pulled him over. They found two lasers in the car, and they also found drugs.
He had crushed up painkillers and meth with him. Oh, but wait, there’s more. He also had a gun with him in the car.
So Clem was arrested on drug charges, as well as for pointing a laser at a public safety officer.
Because of the gun, all the charges were enhanced, which means that he could get an even stiffer sentence.
So I’m pretty sure that no matter how much you may have overdone it over the weekend, and no matter how much a struggle it is for you to get up this morning, you’re not nearly as bad off as this guy.
WDHA Rocks The Early 2000s: A Gallery of Killer Station Memories
Hello Rockers!
With the anniversary of my return to WDHA coming up (I’m back 2/1 for the SECOND TIME 14 years!) I am feeling nostalgic AND with the station’s 50th anniversary just a few years away, I think back on the amazing station memories with so many incredible artists that have crossed our path and hung in our hallowed halls! I grabbed a “few” photo memories (we have so many) from the years 2000-2005 highlighting our history, heritage, and heavy presence in the rock community.
WDHA station visits, in-studio performances, WDHA exclusive concerts, fun events, and memories, check out our “Early 2000s photo gallery” and go back in time.
Were you there when “Shinedown” rocked Pops BBQ for a WDHA All Request Lunch Hour Live Broadcast? How about our very FIRST WDHA Rock The Park Show at Yogi Berra Stadium in Montclair? Or one of the lucky winners that came in to “visit” the Stanley Cup when the Devils won? OR one of the many hanging in our parking lot when Geddy Lee stopped in to promote his then solo album “My Favorite Headache“? SOOOOO many awesome memories!
Please note, if you have any WDHA Listener Memories you would like to share, especially from the early 2000s, email me TC@WDHAFM.COM to share on our “WDHA Listener Tree” as we count YOU as a part of our Rock And Roll family.
Enjoy the photo memories and Rock ON! Thanks for rocking with us through the decades, for almost 50 years!
