It’s a Reconnect With Rockers time with Jesse James Dupree!

One of my favorite things about hosting the “WDHA Reconnect With Rockers” Interview show is catching up with old friends. I remember when Jackyl’s –  “The Lumberjack” came out WAAAAAAY back in 1992, meeting their charismatic, wild, and charming frontman “Jesse James Dupree” at WDHA (he brought me a chainsaw!) and not only being entertained but instantly drawn to his hysterical, fun-loving and articulate personality! Over the years, I have seen Jesse performing with Jackyl, solo, and followed his incredible career which covers his Jackyl career, solo career, record label, and management company. Full Throttle Saloon, Jesse James American Outlaw Spirits Spirits Company, and more! Jesse is truly a rock and roll power player!

In this webisode, we catch up big time! Jesse discusses his new release “Breathing Fire”, collaborating with his friend, Brian Johnson of AC/DC on –  “Never Gets Old”, (watch below) family, friends, bars,  being a rock entrepreneur, and much more!

I’m always grateful to “Reconnect” with old friends, (hence the name of the feature) and it was epic to get together with this interesting and fun rocker again.

Terrie Carr is WDHA’s Program Director and midday–host and is a Jersey Girl - born and raised and has been rocking the Garden State at WDHA for more than half of her life! “Being a part of the lives of our listeners and community every day is a fantastic gift and I’m honored to bring the party to their workday and lives” Says TC. Terrie loves interviewing artists in studio and on her “Reconnect With Rockers” online feature and has hosted nationally syndicated radio interview specials with Judas Priest, Alter Bridge, Black Stone Cherry and more and has appeared on multiple TV shows and rock host of live events. Terrie’s passion is also giving back, and she started the WDHA Rock N’ Ruff program 14 years ago to raise awareness, and funds and find homes for shelter pets throughout the state of New Jersey. Terrie is also a supporter of The American Foundation For Suicide Prevention and the American Cancer Society and volunteers her time for many community outreach programs. Her hobbies are hanging at the beach, going to concerts, and hanging with her best friend, her rescue dog Rosie.
