Plus, you can catch frontman Dave Grohl in hundreds of interviews. And now…..The Foo Fighters tackle the Comic Book World!
You may remember that about a year ago the first ever Foo comic was released. That issue dealt primarily with Dave Grohl’s life and I wrote about it here if you want to check it out. This comic book, from TidalWave Comics, is 22 pages long and discusses the band's origins.
Additionally, it takes a deep dive into all that the band has accomplished and how far they've come.

Who is publishing the comic?
It’s part of TidalWave’s "Orbit" comic book series, dedicated to influential individuals shaping the world. And the name of this one is pretty simple - "Orbit: The Foo Fighters"
Todd Mathy who crafted this one had this to say, “The story of the Foo Fighters is an inspirational one. From the ashes of Nirvana, the Foo Fighters went from growing pains to flying the flag of Rock N Roll, which they continue to do to this day."
I agree with him. The Foos put out comics, wine, and other merch consistently. They have been the quintessential American rock band for the last several years. Legions of fans cannot get enough of them.
TidalWave Comics is selling this one and many other great comics in print on Amazon. Also, the digital version can be downloaded on Google Play, iTunes, Kindle, or wherever you get your e-books.
It looks like it's going to be a really fun read. Plus, it will make a wonderful collector's item. Maybe I’ll crack open my Foo Fighters white wine, put on their latest album, and enjoy a good read……..and some fun pictures lol!
If you're interested, I would get your copy asap, because this has a chance of selling out fast!

5 Dave Grohl Songs New Jersey Fans Love
Here in New Jersey, we love Dave Grohl. Then again, I think the whole world loves him. He’s a super-talented musician and one of the nicest guys in rock. It was just his birthday and we celebrated on my show by jamming out to music. I’d love for you to take a look at 5 Dave Grohl songs New Jersey fans love!
I have a feature at 5 PM called First Call Last Call. It’s a themed block of music for your ride home that is put together based on the responses to the question of the day on the DHA Facebook page. The other day I mentioned that Dave Grohl’s birthday was approaching, and I asked what song with Dave’s drumming or vocals you absolutely love. Of course, I got some great responses. You could pick from awesome drumming on Nirvana songs, catchy melodies of Foo Fighters, and more. He’s played on a lot, with a lot of different people, so there’s sure to be at least one song you dig from his extensive catalog.
Dave Grohl has done so many interviews and meet and greets and you never hear a bad thing about him. Just that he’s so kind, insightful, and even motivational. He’s always talking about following your dreams, especially regarding young musicians.
His drumming is so good. It’s not overly complicated but fits each song he plays on so very well! And his songwriting skills are on another level. He can rock out with an up-tempo banger, or give you a spacey, dreamlike ballad with heart.
The songs he’s been a part of are a lot of fun to listen to and I loved reading through the responses of what DHA listeners think is his best song.
On that note, how about we look at 5 Dave Grohl songs New Jersey fans love!
SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT - NIRVANA
This is where many of us were introduced to Dave. His drumming blew me away. That intro when he comes in after Kurt's guitar riff is epic!
THE PRETENDER - FOO FIGHTERS
This one wasn't initially planned to be on the album. Thank God it was. Such a rocker and that chorus is an anthemic hook!
GO WITH THE FLOW - QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE
So Dave helped out Josh Homme and company on this album "Songs For The Deaf". Man did his drumming get even better than his Nirvana days. It's so great to hear!
TIMES LIKE THESE - FOO FIGHTERS
This one is such a beautiful look at life and the ups and downs. But yet it still has that rock feel. And some emotional singing from Grohl!
NEW FANG - THEM CROOKED VULTURES
It's a rock supergroup! Of course Dave is part of it! LOL. His drumming does not disappoint and sounds so fun on this track.
