Hi Friends,

As you all know (I'm sure) I'm a HUGE champion of new rock and WDHA does our best to bring you some awesome new artists from all sonic areas of the rock genre- and I love having them on Reconnect With Rockers so we can get the full scope if who they are.

Austin Meade is someone I have had my eyes and ears on for awhile and when his new single "Blackout" dropped , I flipped! It was actually brought to my attention by a few listeners who saw Austin perform with Giovannie and The Hired Guns.

Austin Meade joined me for this "Reconnect" webisode to discuss his musical roots, how being a drummer originally works it's way into all of his music, his band, his Pastor , Heavy Metal Father, love of maiden and Megadeth and so much more!

Austin has roots in 70's rock, metal and a bit of southern and country sensibility with his Texas roots.

Go back and check out his catalog, which is coming up on ten years old, especially his album "Abstract Art Of An Unstable Mind" and you will be blown away as well.

Check out some of Austin's video'e below- and stay tuned for concert information as we will let you know when this talented guy and his killer band roll into New Jersey to give us some tunes live.

An artist to watch- Austin Meade - get to know him this week on Reconnect With Rockers!

As always thanks for watching.......
