Look Out, Jed Clampett! Florida Man Might Be Stealing Your Act
Who can forget the iconic opening sequence of the 1960’s TV show The Beverly Hillbillies with Jed Clampett and the entire Clampett clan crammed into their jalopy with all their family belongings stacked on top.
That must have made for one wild scene as they drove down Rodeo Drive as they headed for their new home with the “cement pond” in the spacious backyard.
Well for one Florida Man, it may have been a case of life imitating “art” or a case of trying to steal a page from Jed Clampett’s act.
FLORIDA MAN STRIKES AGAIN!
DATELINE – Orlando and the Saga of Florida Man-turned-Jed Clampett. A TikToker stunned users of the platform after she shared footage of a bizarre sight captured in Orlando, Florida.
The video shows a car piled sky high with junk as was pulled over on a busy road with two police officers attempting to talk to the driver. Whether they could even see him under the stack of junk that was on top of the car – chairs, bins, scrap metal – that remains a mystery.
The TikToker, who goes by the name “Hello from Imani,” posted the video with the caption “Welcome to Orlando. I’m so confused. This is crazy.”
As was some of the reactionsfrom people when they saw this.
Some were impressed by the driver’s stacking skills. One person commenting on the TikTok video – “I’m just amazed how it’s all holding together…it’s holding together better than my life.”
Others theorized that maybe it’s moving day and he was just trying to save money on a UHaul, although someone did say he’s “constantly getting gas. That engine’s working overtime.”
There are those who were convinced that the car had to be an art display, which is something that a lot of people thought. It is unknown what became of the driver or his interesting ride sculpture, although we do suspect that the police probably did not find the vehicle to be road worthy.
