Florida Man’s Inner 5-Year Old Throws Temper Tantrum Over His Sandwich
Remember when you were a little kid and Mom had to make your sandwich a certain way? Well think of Florida Man channeling his inner 5-year old and having a temper tantrum over his Subway sandwich order.
FLORIDA MAN STRIKES AGAIN!
DATELINE – Stuart, Florida and the Saga of 54-year old Alberto DeBarros.
I mentioned his age because I think it’ll come into play in just a few minutes.
Well, DeBarros went into a Subway sandwich shop in Stuart, ordered a footlong sub. He watched it being made, did not see to have a problem with it.
That is, until he unwrapped it and discovered that the footlong had not been cut in half (see accompanying picture).
Now, I don’t think that’s a big deal. You probably don’t think it’s a big deal, but then we’re not Florida Man, who apparently DID think it was a big deal because he went a little nutty and started shouting at the sandwich maker.
He then picked up the uncut footlong and threw it at her, striking her in the mid to lower body section.
What are we, five years old? And mommy didn’t cut the crust off the Wonder Bread sandwich?
At any rate, DeBarros left the shop, followed by the worker with her cell phone. With the camera, she took a photo of DeBarros’ license plate that made it very easy for the police to track him down.
He did admit to getting angry about his sandwich not being cut in half.
Can you imagine that conversation between the police and DeBarros?
He told them he thought he threw the sandwich at the counter and not at the worker. He was arrested for battery, that’s a misdemeanor charge, by the way, and booked into jail.
Released from custody after posting a $1,000 bond. He’s scheduled for a February 1 arrangement.
You can imagine the conversation in jail. “Hey, tough guy. What are you in here for?” “Um, my sandwich wasn’t cut in half.”
