Florida Man’s Christmas Eve Included Doing Dirt Angels While Being Chased By Police
Florida Man being chased by the police isn’t anything new. Making dirt angels in the process and the fact that it happened on Christmas Eve probably shouldn’t shock you either.
FLORIDA MAN STRIKES AGAIN!
DATELINE -Tampa and the Saga of Florida man Eliezer Armando Reyes Rios, who was involved in a one-vehicle car crash in Tampa on Christmas Eve at about 7 PM.
Well, he didn’t stick around. He took off leaving the scene of the accident, ended up jumping over a fence onto a large construction site. There is audio and there was also some accompanying video as well from police helicopters.

We made it about, I don’t know, 200 feet down before he decided to jump over the fence. I didn’t continue with him, but we got a perimeter set up pretty quickly to lock him down. I think we got him in there.
All right. We do have a subject just north of a tree. He’s on the southeast corner. Looks like he’s in a culvert. You won’t be able to see him from where you’re at because it’s a culvert, I just realized. But you all right across from him?
Yeah. Just so you all know, he’s just sort of casually laying there with his arms behind his head. Definitely the shorts. Got his right arm behind his head and his left arm down by his side at the moment. We’ll let you know if he moves or anything happens with him.
Just casually lying there on the construction site in the dirt. And that’s the point at which he started doing dirt angels. No idea what inspired that, but he felt like he had to do a dirt angel on Christmas Eve.
He looks like he’s on the phone now in his left hand.
Must have been one heck of a conversation there, right? Well, then he took off.
All right, he’s starting to move. Yeah, he’s running. He just fell down. He’s running towards the west.
K-9 units are going to get involved here soon.
All right, just hold your perimeter. Let’s not try to make contact. K-9 is almost there. He’s starting to climb up and over. He’s going up and over the fence, guys, get people to the culverts. Get people out to Nebraska. All right, he jumped over the fence and then he fell.

Well, he did get the arms out. He did get on the ground. He was being instructed by the police officer as well as the K-9 officer, who you can hear barking there.
According to the sheriff’s office. Florida Man Reyes Rios arrested on several charges, including leaving the scene of an accident, driving with a canceled, suspended, or revoked license, maybe all three, because it is Florida, after all, and trespassing on a construction site.
If that was Christmas Eve for Florida Man, you can only imagine what New Year’s Eve was like.
