Road rage happens everywhere, but when Florida Man is involved you just KNOW it's going to be a little different.
Here in New Jersey, if someone does something annoying or stupid while driving, we generally serve up the one-finger salute.
Florida Man?
That salute may include a plate of pasta flying through the window.
Florida Man Road Rage
DATELINE - Saint Petersburg and the Saga of Florida man Nolan Goins.
A little road rage incident, Al dente, Florida Man style.
It seems that Goins was driving the other day and he was dealing with some glaring headlights from another driver.
He got a little upset.
So as that other driver pulled up next to him and listen, I understand how upsetting that can be. It's distracting. It's annoying.
Well, Goins pulled up next to the other driver and threw a plate of spaghetti through the passenger window of his car at the driver in the other vehicle.
According to the police report, the other driver was struck in the arms, legs, and torso, and Nolan
also managed to get the spaghetti on himself.
Now, thankfully neither guy was seriously injured.
Maybe the pasta wasn't cooked enough or was cooked too much. I don't know. Either way, Goins was charged with battery booked into the county jail, and freed on a thousand dollars bond.
He's a painting contractor, but he does have a prior rap sheet, which includes convictions for selling marijuana, obstruction, and battery a couple of times, as well as a multitude of traffic infractions.
I think this is the first time he's been charged with throwing a plate of spaghetti at somebody while driving.
Before he was released on bond, you can imagine that conversation in jail.
"Hey tough guy, what are you in for?"
"Umm, I threw a plate of spaghetti at a guy while I was driving."
5 Best Places For Pizza In Bergen County
We looked at some great spots in Morris County to grab pizza, but what about Bergen County residents? Where can they choose to grab a pie from? Thankfully there are some excellent locations spread throughout the county.
Actually, there are a ton of them. But for now, let’s take a look at the 5 best places for pizza in Bergen County!
Why Pizza in Bergen County is Special
What makes pizza so tasty? Some might say it’s the simplicity of it. Some dough is covered in sauce and cheese and tossed in the oven and there ya go!
Others might say it’s the fact that you can dress it up with many different toppings. The combinations of which seem almost endless. I don’t know if either side would be totally right.
There’s value to both sides of that argument. All I know is I can’t eat just one slice.
Why isn’t pizza the official food of the United States of America? I mean, many of us eat it pretty often. Maybe that’s a question for a different article! LOL. I will say that it’s tough to find someone that doesn’t enjoy a slice or two every know and again.
Or maybe even a whole pie….I’m not here to judge.
I feel like my staple is either pepperoni or plain, so you can really taste every nuance of flavor from the cheese to the house-made sauce, to even that dough! But everyone has their own idea of what the right toppings are. And sometimes that changes.
I’ll find myself often saying “I’m in the mood for something different.” And then I’ll order from a place that makes Buffalo Chicken Pizza, just to spice it up a bit.
No matter how you like it, you usually can’t go wrong. Personally, I don’t think there’s a “bad” slice of pizza.
It’s just okay. But bad is harsh and I feel like it’s even hard to make. As for out of this world….that’s another story. So let’s get into it and take a look at the 5 best places for pizza in Bergen County.
