There’s Nothing Wrong With Today’s Weird News That Autotune Can’t Fix
If you’re one of those people who complains about the use of autotune in popular music these days, you might want to think about a change of heart after listening to Fuzzy (attempt to) sing on today’s episode of WDHA’s Weird News.
First, a couple of thoughts about autotune.
It’s one thing to use it the way that Cher did on the song “Believe” where it was almost like another instrument.
It’s a whole ‘nother thing to use autotune to fix sour notes because the person singing couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket.
Mick Jagger is said to have used autotune on “Angry” from their new album Hackney Diamonds (I’ll be honest – I don’t hear it at all).
And while autotune didn’t exist until 1996, artists like the Beatles used all kinds of vocal and studio trickery to make their voices sound different.
I bring all of this up because we firmly believe that if Fuzzy insists on singing, he might want to SERIOUSLY consider using some kind of studio magic to get reasonably close to the actual notes he is attempting to warble.

And lastly, in Weird News, officers in Oklahoma were dispatched to a property after someone reported hearing a person crying out for help.
Fortunately, as they got closer, they realized no one was in distress.
According to the report, the cries were coming from a very upset goat. The owner of the farm explained that the psycho goat was upset because he was separated from his friend.
