Paying For Pizza Should Never Be This Crazy Difficult
Buying pizza with a LOT of pennies? A guy dressed in a Bud Light beer can costume? It can only be WDHA’s Weird News.
ANNOUNCER – Time now for WDHA’s Weird News with Michael Fuzzy Lee.
FUZZY – Today in Weird News, a man in Los Angeles was cleaning out a family member’s home when he stumbled upon a pile of bank bags containing one million pennies. The pennies are at least 40 years old because they are copper as the US switched from copper to zinc in the early 80s, Coin collectors may be willing to pay up to $25,000 for the pen these.
So what’s a better choice? Cash them in or count each one individually while you pay for a calzone?
SEINFELD AUDIO – “What the hell is this? Pennies, change?” “That’s all I got.” “You got to have bills, paper money. You got to pay with these.” “Look, I said that’s all I got.” “Then you got no calzone.”
No calzone. Well, I guess it’s better to cash him in. You don’t want to start a penny war with the pizza guy.
SEINFELD AUDIO – “Wait a minute.”
Yeah, that’s not good. And lastly in weird news, deputies were notified of a possible drunk driver on Interstate 35 in Kansas and pulled him over.
They had no doubt about his drunkenness when they noticed he was wearing a Bud Light beer can costume.
All right, maybe he was excited for Halloween and wanted a head start first. But I wonder if the officers did a sobriety test on him.
As long as they’re careful, don’t shake him too much or have him jump up and down, his top won’t blow.
JIM CAREY – Alrighty, then.
And that’s DHA’s Weird News.
