We don't know about you, but if we were to commit a crime, probably the absolute last place we would venture 24 hours later would be the exact scene of that crime.
FLORIDA MAN STRIKES AGAIN!
DATELINE - Brooksville, Florida, and actually the Saga of Two Florida Women, one being Keyisha Henderson and the other Kierra Tolliver.
So here's the deal. A couple of days ago at a Walmart in Brooksville, they stole a wallet from a woman. One of these two distracted while the other grabbed the wallet.
The two then used credit cards to buy more than $2,000 worth of stuff. They might have gotten away with it, but for some reason, they decided to go bac kto the same Walmart the very next day.
I don't know, if it was me, I think I might have gotten out of town. Or maybe they decided, hey, they'd never think to look for us here.
Well, these two knuckleheads made the police's job easier because the cops were there still investigating the previous day's theft.
A Walmart employee spotted them, recognized them, and said, hey, officer, there they are!
Both of them surrendered; Walmart's security got both in custody. They're facing multiple charges for theft plus fraudulent use of a credit card.
Henderson also had an outstanding warrant for identity theft. Again, I don't think that's exactly the place I would have gone if I was trying to avoid the police.
