Florida Man Introduces His Class To A Terrifying Winnie the Pooh
Picture the scene – Florida Man is a teacher whose class is stuck inside for recess.
He decides to show them a movie.
That was NOT a good decision.
FLORIDA MAN STRIKES AGAIN!
DATELINE – Miami and the Saga of Florida Man, as of yet unnamed. He’s a fourth grade teacher who got in trouble for letting his kids watch a movie in class.
I’ll play a little excerpt of the movie.
The movie is called Winnie the Pooh – Blood and Honey. It’s a live-action horror film that came out a little earlier this year.
So they were having indoor recess, it seems. The teacher asked the class, “What would you like to watch, boys and girls?”
He claims that’s what they chose. Winnie the Pooh – Blood and Honey. Now, remember, these are like nine and ten year old kids we’re talking about.
Well, after the movie got started, some of the kids said, “Teacher, could we watch something else, please? We don’t like this.”
Now, this happened at a charter school, so the school decides who to hire and fire, as opposed to a school board type of thing. But some of the parents are angry. You can imagine the WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN comments.
And some of the kids did come home pretty upset by what they saw.
What did they see? Well, the movie has a kill count of 13. That’s roughly one every six and a half minutes.
The movie was shot in eight days on a budget of about $100,000. It made $5 million at the box office. I mean, it’s low budget, it’s a bad horror film, but nonetheless, if I spent one hundred K and my return on the investment was $5 million, guess what? I’d do what the director is doing. I’d make a sequel.
So, yes, Winnie the Pooh – Blood and Honey Two is coming, as well as two other films this director has planned – Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare and Bambi the Reckoning.
Again, if I spent $100,000 and made 5 million, I’d follow the money.
