The Traffic Violations Were the Least of Florida Man’s Issues
A couple of traffic violations turned into quite the ordeal for Florida Man once he admitted to the police that he was in possession of marijuana. Because once the police started to search his vehicle, and found a bunch of other drugs and weapons, the issues got a whole lot more complicated for him.
FLORIDA MAN STRIKES AGAIN!
DATELINE – Crisp County, Georgia. And the Saga of Florida Man Dallas Day. He is from Summerfield, Florida, apparently taking his act on the road.
He was pulled over a couple of days ago for speeding and failure to maintain his lane while driving his silver Ford Mustang, according to the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office.
Well, the speeding – that could be avoided. Stay in your lane, that could also be something you can do on your own to avoid attracting attention.
Because once he attracted the attention of the sheriff’s office, well, deputies pulled him over and they noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the car. Day freely admitted, “Yes, officer, I have marijuana inside the vehicle.”
Another dumb move right there, because with that admission, a search resulted, and that search revealed a large quantity of marijuana, along with some pills, four guns and an illegal suppressor.
A Ton of Possession Charges
Day was arrested and booked into the Crisp County Detention center on charges that included possession of a firearm during commission of a crime, possession of marijuana, possession of a sawed off shotgun, possession of a machine gun, possession of a silencer, possession of a schedule four controlled substance, possession of prescription drugs not in the original container, and, oh, yes, multiple traffic offenses.
Although after that laundry list of the things that he was in possession of, I think the multiple traffic offenses would be the least of Florida man’s problems.
