Florida Man Sends Text Threat To Himself and Lands In Jail
Watching your ex move on after a breakup can be tough. And when Florida Man enters the picture, it gets even tougher because not only does he not want to see you move on, he wants to get even with your new beau.
That’s just one of the possible explanations for what happened here when Florida Man tried to convince the cops that his ex-wife’s new boyfriend was a threat to his kids, only to land himself in jail.
FLORIDA MAN STRIKES AGAIN!
DATELINE – Lake Worth, Florida and the Saga of Florida Man Rishil Bisnath, who contacted the Palm Beach Beach Sheriff’s Office to report what he said were threatening messages that he received from his ex-wife’s new boyfriend.
One of those messages allegedly threatened the guy’s kids.
Well, it turns out after some brief questioning that the ex-wife’s new boyfriend did not send any text messages. In fact, Bisnath sent the messages to himself from his phone to his iPad.
Bisnath wanted law enforcement to stop by his former wife’s house. He had previously contacted the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office eight different times, requesting a welfare check on his kids. The ex-husband told the deputy he believed this fake threat could not be ignored by law enforcement, thus ensuring deputies would go to his kid’s location.
Well, according to the arrest report, Bisnath had no real reason to believe the children were in any danger at all, which prompted deputies to arrest Bisnath and charge him with falsely reporting a non-existing crime and resisting arrest without violence. Because as they arrested Bisnath, he allegedly pulled away, was forced to the ground while yelling, “You can’t take me to jail!”
Well, not only can they take him to jail, they did.
He was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail, released a few hours later, due in court for his arraignment hearing on November 30.
